Encontro Paraíso Illa San Simón is the annual gathering of the Residencias Paraíso programme, taking place from 18 to 20 September 2026 on San Simón Island (Redondela, Pontevedra).
The gathering brings together all the Paraíso 2026 artists and numerous invited professionals from Galicia and beyond. It is conceived as a space to share the artistic processes developed during the year as part of the residencies and to foster a space for collective knowledge.
In addition, for this tenth edition, we are continuing to hold several ten-day residencies on San Simón Island itself, with three invited artists.
The gathering seeks to bring us together in the intimacy of an island as unique as San Simón, for an intense experience of living and working together that will hopefully be deeply enriching for all the artists and professionals taking part.
