Artista Malvista

With the intention of practicing how we tell ourselves, RPM opens a space for collective reflection through a series of critical analysis sessions focused on artistic projects. The initiative emerges from the perception that there are few spaces —from and for the artistic community— in which to gather and reflect on how we narrate who we are, what we do, and how we are perceived.

These sessions aim to generate tools for thinking about how the narrative of a project is constructed: what it reveals, what it conceals, how it communicates, and what perceptions it produces. The focus lies on both the individual and collective dimensions of critical processes, opening questions around coherence, language, singularity, perception, and the tactics and strategies through which a project becomes legible, while also making room to imagine other possible narratives, overflows, and nuances.

Each session begins with the presentation of an artistic dossier as a case study and unfolds through different dynamics of individual and collective analysis, as well as shared discussion spaces.

The sessions are aimed at the artistic community across disciplines, welcoming both emerging and mid-career artists.

Lima Limón Menta

Lima limón menta was born from the desire to create a fresh, accessible, and informal space for encounters between artists and culturally engaged citizens.

In a context where exchanges between artistic creation and society often take place through presentations, events, or specific forms of mediation, we are interested in creating a place where people can simply meet, talk, and get to know one another. A space where artistic practices can come into contact with other experiences, interests, forms of knowledge, and ways of seeing, and where the desire to connect becomes the common starting point.

We are interested in reclaiming the idea of those places people do not visit for a specific purpose, but for the possibility of encountering others. Like a town square or a familiar neighborhood bar, Lima limón menta aims to be an in-between space, situated somewhere between the private and the institutional, where conversations unfold without a program and communities are woven informally.

We see these gatherings as an opportunity to strengthen connections, reduce distances, and foster closer relationships between those who create and those who feel engaged by culture, art, and contemporary thought. A place to share concerns, intuitions, questions, or stories that often remain outside spaces of exhibition, production, or cultural consumption.

Lima limón menta seeks to celebrate the value of informal conversations, encounters free from productive expectations, and shared time as ways of building community.

A table, a midday gathering, limes, lemons, and mint.
