Sobre o extravío ou a arte de perderse
Sobre o extravío ou a arte de perderse is a solo dance piece in which Nuria Sotelo, under the direction of Ana Vallés, explores the importance of place, what is unseen but already there, the necessary forgetting, and the art of losing oneself. When the body creates space and presence transforms the environment, becoming part of it, it turns into an object.
In the creative process of Sobre o extravío ou a arte de perderse, they will have lighting design by Laura Iturralde and sound composition by Camille Hedouin to create a suspension of time and space, aiming to break the sensation of linear time. They incorporate the movement of a soft body, with the lightness of a body ready for dance, and the everyday naturalness of walking, washing hands, or preparing a coffee.
