Incorpórea
“What you see is not my body, not even my image – it’s what occurs inside me” – Suevia Rojo
Incorpórea aims to portray the entry into a body that exists not through its image but through what is essentially internal. It is a call to recognize oneself from within, a process of self-investigation and self-questioning about what makes one define oneself. It is about looking essentially inward, where the different layers that compose self-awareness are revealed as living maps of experiences, desires, and constant contradictions, being the intersection of what we feel and what we think we are.
The body ceases to be merely a space that contains information and becomes a place of searching. It becomes a gesture of vulnerability and power: vulnerability to face one’s own abysses; power to resignify them.
A research process that invites transforming these internal processes into body language, to shed light on them even when they intend to remain hidden.
About making visible what cannot be seen except by oneself. A gesture that transcends a simple body, that seeks to capture what is defined as Incorpórea.
To recognize what pulses in the silence, that insists on existing even when it is not named.
